Hm, let's see... my bio...

My first game was an arcade-style game for the Vector Graphics VIP CP/M system, using 160x72 block graphics, written in FORTRAN and assembly language. Only about 12 people ever played it. My first commercial game was "Space Strike," for the IBM PC, in 1982. It was followed in quick succession by "Snack Attack II" (coauthored with Dan Illowsky, who also wrote the original hit for the Apple II), "Cosmic Crusader," and "Big Top." At that point, I realized I couldn't make a living doing PC games, so I took a 12-year break from games before going to Id Software and working on "Quake."
