Voila ce qui devrait se mettre en place pour le mois de décembre sur DFUW (en 3 patchs, le premier début de semaine prochaine).

En résumé :

  • Nouvelle interface de chat, avec options, emotes, etc,
  • Nouvelles barres de skill avec "options" sur les skills,
  • Les cannons pour les city,
  • Des "events" hotspots PvP qui font gagner de la prowess (prowess monoliths),
  • Un nouveau donjon,
  • Le 3ème rôle primalist qui ne sortira pas en décembre.

New chat system:
We have already presented and shown screenshots of it. It's undergoing final testing and is expected to be added next week, barring any persistent issues.

Hot bars and skill options:
Hot bars that show skill placement as well as cool downs will be added this month. These will be visible in action mode making it easier for players to see which skill is assigned to which slot as well as track the cool downs. Additionally 3 new options per slot will be made available. One allows players to decide if they want the default skill for each weapon to be cast when the selected skill is on cool down or not. The second presents the option of reverting to the default skill for each weapon when the selected skill has been executed. The third option flags skills on the slot to be cast by pressing the relevant hot key only without having to press the associated mouse button afterwards. New icons for all schools skills have also been created and will be introduced with the hot bars.

Cannons:
The projectile cannons located on top of towers in clan cities as well as a deployable cannon are being finalized and will be added to the game in the next couple of weeks. Cannons require black powder to be operated and in the case of the deployable ones, players will need to craft them. More cannon options and more siege machines will follow.

Prowess Monoliths:
Another feature in the final stages of development is the prowess monolith. These monoliths become active at set intervals and players that enter the structure will gain prowess for the duration of their visit. The more players on the structure, the more the prowess is divided up, so securing the location for you and your friends is important.

New Epic Dungeon:
Sinspire Cathedral is a new epic dungeon that has its' entrance located in the Banegorge area of Agon. Sinspire is an epic dungeon in size, difficulty as well as denizens. Players will navigate through a huge environment inspired from Gothic style cathedrals, with the ultimate goal of reaching the dungeon Boss. A new dynamic door system requires players to perform certain kills to proceed or even escape. On the way to the dungeon boss players will encounter the Erodach, the dungeon's mini boss. The Erodach is a high rank caster monster that uses special attacks and custom AI to challenge the players.

At the dungeon's finale, players will need to defeat Sir Davos the Damned to claim their reward and escape the Cathedral. Sir Davos is a monster of the highest difficulty that uses many new and devastating custom skills. Players will need to pay attention to their surroundings and employ new strategies as well as impeccable coordination to succeed.

Also:

Chaos School: The third Primalist school is also in its' final stages of development, but may not make it in by the end of the month due to the time it will take to complete the effects for the feature.

Finally, as you know, we have also been working closely with players on the MVP forum to improve the economy as well as desirability of villages and clan holdings and we should start seeing results on these in the game very soon. A new wave of invites to the MVP forum is going out today.

Expect the first patch to happen early next week.

Pas tant que ca, y a de plus en plus de monde IG. Certes on est loin de la population à la release mais ca remonte bien. Un clan créé il y a 3 semaines pour les nouveaux joueurs compte à lui seul 90 membres actif
J ai achete le jeu lors de la 1ere release.

J ai donné une seconde chance lors du reboot, curieux de voir la nouvelle interface.

Quand j ai vu ce qu ils avaient pondu... une interface console optimisée pour un pad j ai définitivement laissé tomber.
Reussir l exploit de faire encore pire que la 1ere interface c était pas donné à tout le monde !

Les jeux sandbox sont rares, et je suis le 1er à les soutenir, mais la faut qd même pas deconner...
L'interface est pas terrible c'est sur, ils ont essayé "d’innover", après prétendre aimer les sandbox et les soutenir et s’arrêter à ça c'est un peu dommage !

On aime ou on aime pas mais là, c'est du niveau JVC, d'ailleurs retourne y ça me reposera les yeux....
1er patch qui devait être prévu pour "early next week". On est déjà mercredi et rien. Ca fait 1 an que c'est comme ça pour DFUW.

Et ils osent encore affirmer sortir 3 patchs en Décembre alors qu'on est déjà le 11.

Pathétique.

July, week 2:



  • This week we’re adding the 3d Primalist School and all roles will now have 3 schools each.


On est le 11 Décembre et cette fameuse 3ème école est repoussée à Janvier ahah.

Les clans de nouveaux joueurs c'est toujours ceux qui marchent le plus à la fin d'un jeu, les derniers mois de dfo la guilde de newb avait la moitié du serveur. Helas comme je dis toujours , c'est pas les nouveaux joueurs qui font qu'un jeu marche ou pas , les casus ca va , ca vient , mais plutôt la fan base , les joueurs qui suivent le projet qui attendent impatiemment la release , si tu les perds eux pour moi c'est fini.Aprés si certains arrivent encore a s'amuser c est tant mieux , vraiment , mais ne me faites pas croire à l'eldorado!!

Oui oui, 3 patch sur décembre sachant qu'ils annoncent cela à mi-décembre..

Bon c'est bien le 1er patch est justement arrivé aujourd’hui, OH WAIT !

bon ok je suis salaud, ils peuvent encore patcher durant la soirée...

An update on the promised patches since we’ve been trying to get the first one out since Tuesday and it’s now Thursday and still no patch: Before I go into details, I’ll say that our plan is to launch everything we talked about in our last update by the end of the month. I just finished speaking with everyone concerned and confirmed that we should make it before Christmas.

The first patch contains the new Sinspire Cathedral epic dungeon: This isn't just any dungeon. It’s huge, the largest adventure area in the game. It’s a difficult dungeon. It contains the largest boss monster. It has the most loot by far; It contains new monsters with custom AI. There are new dungeon mechanics and features, plus we believe it’s one of the most visually appealing locations in the game. So, we've tried many new things here, which will be inherited by future dungeons and it also sets the bar high for future DFUW dungeon design. Unfortunately with all the innovations, there are as many points of failure. The problem that we kept running into new bugs while playing through it, so we've had to put off the patch a couple of times. Today, after we fixed most of the reported bugs, it’s looking OK for tomorrow (Friday), so far, but I can’t rule out needing to hold it until Monday. We’ll know for sure tomorrow morning Greek time. You can check out some screenshots of Sinspire Cathedral that we've posted on Facebook.

The subsequent patches also represent months of hard work, especially the new chat system, which should be going in next week, both should be completed by Christmas.

We apologize for the delay, and we’ll keep you updated on the patching schedule.
